MISO, The Miami Symphony Orchestra, was founded in 1989 by Maestro Manuel Ochoa. With more than 80 professional musicians selected from the finest artists from around the world, MISO. Since 2006, the baton has been in the hands of Maestro Eduardo Marturet, a Venezuelan composer and conductor acclaimed on three continents. Maestro Marturet envisions MISO as a world-class professional symphony anchored in Miami. Today, MISO is celebrating its 21st season.
