Oct. 6 the new group IL VOLO at The Filmore at Miami Beach

In May 2009, three fresh-faced teenagers, Piero Barone (17), Ignazio Boschetto (16), and Gianluca Ginoble (16), appeared on the popular Italian talent show “Ti Lascio Una Canzone” and dazzled television viewers with their flawless rendition of the Neapolitan standard “O Sole Mio.” The boys, who won the competition easily, decided their group needed a name. “Il Volo,” meaning “flight,” was chosen to signify the feeling that these three young tenors were about to spread their wings and fly. Oct.22 ENRIQUE IGLESIAS/PITBULL Y PRINCE ROYCE at American Airline Arena

The tour start on September 22 at Boston . The outing will visit 20 cities and then wrap up on October 22 in Iglesias’ hometown of Miami. It is expected that Iglesias will be performing many of his hit songs, including new blockbusters like “Dirty Dancer” and “Tonight.”

Iglesias said, I’m very excited getting out into the States. This time I’m going with my great friends Prince Royce and Pitbull. It will be a really great show. Hopefully, we will see you there. The tour is going to be unforgettable.

The Summer Shorts Festival is comprised of three theatre series: (each of the one-act plays in the Summer Shorts Festival is anywhere from five to 20 minutes in length) Signature Shorts, the original Summer Shorts offering; Shorts for Kids!, a family-friendly mix of short plays designed with youngsters in mind; and Undershorts, a showcase for late-night entertainment aimed at adults.
